Winterfest is a weekend full of fun and fellowship. It is one of the weekends that everyone in Michigan DeMolay looks forward to year after year. But there are a number of things that you should keep in mind before hitting the road.

• Winterfest 2014 will now be held at the Doubletree Hotel in Bay City, Michigan. This is a new hotel for us, and a change from the original location.
• Bring the remaining balance of your registration fee. If you didn’t pay your entire balance up front, you will be expected to pay the remaining balance when you register. Don’t know if you have a balance? Contact ‘Dad’ Billhymer.
• Don’t forget to pack some extra clothes! You never know when you might end up in a giant pile of snow, or in a pool, so its best to come prepared with some extra clothes.
• Bring some extra money. The DeMolay & More Store will be open, and there will be many opportunities for you to buy the newest DeMolay gear. Not to mention, you may want to chip in with some others to buy a pizza.
• Grab your swimsuit! With an indoor pool and a whirlpool, youo are definitely going to want to bring your bathing suit so that you can spend some of your free time in the pool.
• Be prepared for little to no sleep. Winterfest is always a weekend where sleep is hard to come by, so prepare yourself. Get some extra sleep the night before, and be ready to get some extra sleep when you get home. Also, be sure to complete any homework you have before you leave, because you are not going to want to do it Sunday night!
• Registration opens at 4:00 PM. You will not be able to register, or check in to your room, before then.
• The address of the hotel is 1 Wenonah Park Place, Bay City, MI 48708. If that address gets you lost, try using 600 Saginaw St., Bay City, MI 48708, which is the address for the parking lot. Both will take you to the same place.
