Roseville DeMolay Celebrates Educational Day

On April 18th, 2011,  Roseville DeMolay put on “One of the best Educational Day events I have ever seen”,  says Dad Brian Lambka.

The DeMolay of Roseville had a dinner, presentation, awards and Ceremony of Light performance for the teachers they felt had helped them the most.  It started off with an absolutely delicious dinner of mostacholi, roast beef, mashed potatoes, corn and biscuits, cooked by our own Dad Lambka.

After everyone had thorougly enjoyed their meal, Brother Andy MacLeod gave a presentation on what DeMolay is all about.  Then,  each brother presented an Award of Appreciation to the teachers they had invited.  Each teacher then gave a quick speech about their student and how, after learning about DeMolay, they feel our organization is outstanding.  After that we headed upstairs where Brother Josh Lampar did an excellent job of performing the Ceremony of Light.  The teachers were in awe by what was done for them and how we showed our deep appreciation for their help.

After the festivities were over, we all enjoyed mingling with each other and our teachers.  Roseville DeMolay can’t wait until next year when they can bring even more awareness of DeMolay to others and appreciation to those who are willing to teach them.
