Outstanding Ritualist Program

The following Outstanding Ritualist Program is to be implemented for the Jurisdiction of Michigan. The purpose of the program is to provide for annual state-wide recognition of Michigan’s outstanding DeMolay ritualist. It is intended that such annual recognition will provide an added incentive to Michigan’s “Active” DeMolay members to promote and excel in DeMolay ritualism.

Participation in this Outstanding Ritualist Program will start with the individual chapter. During the period of January – March of each year, each Chapter in the Jurisdiction will designate its candidate for Outstanding Ritualist. This designation by the Chapter will be accomplished by competition. All of the Chapter Outstanding Ritualists will meet in Competition at the annual Michigan Conclave. At the annual conclave competition, Michigan’s Outstanding Ritualist for the year will be delivered, presented and recognized.

To be eligible for participation in this Outstanding Ritualist Program, each DeMolay must be in good standing, possess an obligation card, and have not yet attained his 21st birthday as of the last day of the annual Conclave at which he would be competing for the designation of Michigan’s Outstanding Ritualist.
