Brethren, Michigan DeMolay needs your help! This year (2014), and for the following two years (2015 & 2016), Michigan DeMolay will be hosting the Heartland Ritual Tournament Of Champions.
DeMolay members from all over the Great Lakes area (Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, Wisconsin, including Michigan and many other DeMolay jurisdictions) will be flocking to Michigan to compete for the right to say that they are the best Ritualists that DeMolay has to offer.
In order to facilitate this, we need competent judges who understand the presentation of the ritual as well as the process needed to score the DeMolay’s performances. We will have a training session on Saturday, February 22nd at 8am at the Lincoln Park Masonic Temple. Michigan DeMolay’s Heartland Qualifier will be held on this date, and those who are trained to be judges that morning will have an opportunity to put their training into action during the Michigan DeMolay Heartland Qualifier Tournament (also on Feb 22nd, from 9 am to about 2pm). A free lunch will be available for all judges.
This training is for preparation of the actual Heartland Tournament of Champions, which will be held this year on Saturday, April 26th at the Westin Hotel, located in Southfield, Michigan.
