Clifford C. Reeves DeMolay Chapter Donates to Less Fortunate

Clifford C. Reeves DeMolay Chapter observed “Day Of Comfort,” a DeMolay International Obligatory Day, by donating food items and going to church.

This year, Clifford C. Reeves DeMolay Chapter donated over $350 worth of canned food items to Fort Street Presbyterian Church in Detroit, after attending a church service on Sunday, December 10, 2017.

As a DeMolay International “Day Of Comfort” obligatory day, Clifford C. Reeves DeMolay Chapter has donated over $1250 in food items to this church program during the last five (5) years. Fort Street Presbyterian Church members not only prepare hot meals for the less fortunate and homeless (to include homeless veterans of our military service), they also distribute food items and clothing to them when available.

The members and advisors of Clifford C. Reeves DeMolay Chapter collected the food items during the month of November and December.

Following the church service and donation of the food items, the members and advisors of C. C. Reeves DeMolay Chapter had a great lunch at Lafayette Coney Island in Detroit, MI, and the way they chomped down on their dogs and chili cheese fries, they all agreed that these Coney dogs are the best chili dogs east of the Mississippi river.

Congratulations to the members of Clifford C. Reeves DeMolay Chapter for another job well done.
